Navigate To Different Pages From A Single Page Using Different Buttons?
I have a web page in php. I put two buttons in the form on the page. Now the problem is that I want to navigate into different pages , but i cant. The buttons are say submit and back. if I pressed submit i want to go to reg.php or if I pressed back, i want to goto home.php. How can i do this?
I would like my customers to be able to navigate between pages like, PREV 1 2 3 4 5 NEXT etc. I have managed to get this working using a combination of code created with dreamweavermx and by following the tutorial at php freaks. However i need the first page that loads to be page 1, so that the first link to be displayed will be for page 2. I'm nearly there but need a bit of help to overcome this. I have enclosed the code below as im not sure where to go from here. Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks. A working link http://www.textual-intercourse.co.uk/pagination3.php
I have Three different buttons. First Button should redirect to the [URL].. that too using Header() method. Second Button should redirect to [URL] using other then Header() method. And finally Third button should redirect to the page which is in my local machine (Path of that file is D:Work space For PracticeRedirectionHomePage.php).
I have a simple login script that I am trying to incorporate into a single page instead of using two pages. So the way I had it origionally is using two files, index.php, and checklogin.php. What I am trying to do is combine them into a single. So, basically, it would display the form, then run the checklogin.php to check the login and do what needs to be done. The files are below: Code:
I want to navigate through pages using 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons in my page.I want to do this without using forms or links.The page can be just a html/php.I want to know what are best ways to do this.
i have a employee signinform which have one username box and one password box with signin button..Now on the action page of this signinform i have given adress of signinvarification form..which matches the entered username and password with the database record.If username and password matches then it shows you have successfully login..otherwise not login...i want that as the employee signin then that login successfully msj does not display and directly the page which have employee pictures displayed..if sign in is successfull(means if password and usermae are matching).what i can do in this...i am thinking that on the if condition if username and password matches then after this i have to write the whole code which i have written for employee picture page on the signinvarification form...is there any possiblitye that simply i give the adress of that employee picture page and as password are matches it directly navigate to that picture page..
I have developed an (PHP)application which has been tested on different development servers. So when I login to the app and navigate to a specific page just after loggin-in, the app logs-out and I have to re-enter the user credentials. But after loggin-in again, it works fine(and doesn't shows the log-in screen until we log-out). I wonder why it works in such an unpredictable way.! I have used session for security reasons and am quite eager to know if this is something to do with cache. I am using the below code on almost all the pages of the app.(so that the user just can't enter the URL of the page and start accessing the application)
session_start(); header("Last-Modified: " . gmdate("D, d M Y H:i:s") . " GMT"); header("Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate"); header("Cache-Control: post-check=0, pre-check=0", false); header("Pragma: no-cache"); /* The app matches the current session-ID with the session ID which previous page has sent and if it doesn't matches, LOG-Out. */ [Code]....
I strongly feel that if the app performs well on one server then it shud work perfectly fine on the other system. I, however have no idea of the php.ini file on the server which throws this issue of loggin-out. but I can certainly find out the details if it is something to do with php.ini file. If there's any modification I need to do in the cache setting, lemme know.

I think I include everything that i would like in the title. I hate using cURL because am not good at understanding all the option you can send. What I want to do is login to a page say http[URL].. and return the contents of that file. If there is any guidelines or sites that might be able to and not php manual because ive already tryied that.
How can I make single items buy buttons automatic? Something like this: I made a CMS so I can add new items for sale. But every time I add an item then I have to go to Paypal to create that item so it can be bought. Is there any way to do this automatic? This way, when I add a new item it can just be bought... Is there a Paypal solution for this? Something in the API?
I have three pages page1.php has a radio button so has page2.php. I need to get the values of both buttons to display.php. I can get page2.php to the display.php page using the echo $_POST['myradio']; but this will not work for the radio button value in page1.php. This is the order in which the pages are selected.
I have created a nice set of buttons, logo, header pic using photoshop.then I have nicely put them in my index.php header.then I have created some nice hyperlinks and etc...its done. It all looks great.PROBLEM: I also have about.php, contact.php, USA.php , Asia.php and hundreds of other php pages. They are all blank at the moment.Question: Do I have to start all over again, copy the buttons, make hyperlinks one by one for every page ?Or , is there a PHP code/function to copy the index.php buttons, links, banner, logo, pic to all other pages ?Solution: So this means, for example, If I ever edit my logo or hyperlink in index.php , it will automatically update all pages, because everything is copied/centralized from index.php.
My page has a horizontal top menu bar with a logo at the top of it. Because of the logo, visitors will scroll down slightly. When using the menu, I don't want the page to annoyingly jump up to the top.
How can I maintain the window scroll position when the visitor clicks another top menu button only, throughout the whole page?
I'm pulling my hair out over this one. I have tried to make a simple script to store sessions so when a user closes there browser, they can come back later and their shopping basket will still be in tact. This all seemed to be going fine until i noticed that on some items the basket was containing same items as the previous. After some checks I noticed the session id was different on these odd pages! Here's my code which sits at the top of my framework.
I've done a few things already using PHP to query a MySQL database etc. However, I have to ask about webpages that use just one index.php file to load the various pages and sections onto. How do I do this in a single PHP file? Maybe I need to use functions in order to store the content for all the pages and then use the $_GET superglobal to call a function depending on whatever link the user clicks on? I could be completely wrong, and I really want to get used to doing this.
This question was already asked in the Wordpress support forums (by me) and can be found here: [URL] But since their response time is unbelievably slow, I figured I'd ask it here as well. I'm using WordPress 3.0 with a self-designed theme. I have a self-built contact form that I'm using, and basically it uses the mail() function to send out an email with the information that the client has filled out. However, I can't seem to refer to the mail script. For example, in the
<form name="" action="mail.php">
how do I refer to mail.php? I can't use
<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>
for some reason. All I need to do is find a way to refer to that file which is located in the same place as all other files (like header.php, index.php, etc. etc.) I have another question TOTALLY unrelated to forms but still in the same sort of arena. I have a slideshow on the theme. The slideshow consists of <img /> elements.
I made a separate file called slideshow.php with only the <img /> elements in it so that the user can simply open that file and add any images to it (meaning the page with the slideshow, in my case index.php, has a php include in it which refers to the slideshow.php file). However, again, in the slideshow.php file, I can't refer to the images with the following:
I have a very small shopping cart app that collects customer information (name, address, cc#, etc.) all on one page. My problem is that I want to capture the name and contact information in my own database and at the same time send the credit card information all to the payment processing company. So it kinda looks like this: Form page collects- Name, Address, Phone, Email, Credit Card Number, Expiration Date Action page 1 - insert into my database (Name, Address, Phone, Email) Action page 2 - post method to credit card authority (Name, Address, Phone, Email, Credit Card Number, Expiration Date)
In the past I've always had contact info on a separate page, so I could save to the db before I "checkout", in this case it's all one form, with only one submit button. In theory, the processing company gives me a receipt page, so I suppose I could have them pass me back all the form field variables and do my insert after the transaction, but I'd rather do it in the order above.
When they move on to the next page, I need to do a mysql query and post all the asked question into the database. I use jquery to hide the answers and show them when clicking the corresponding button. The structure of the page looks like this:
<form action="submitquestions.php" method="post"> <div> <span>This is a question</span> <button name="question" value="question1">Ask the question</button> <span>This is the answer</span>
How can I put all the clicked buttons into the $_POST array and that way submit the data to my database?
I'm slightly confused (as per normal) and wondering if you could help.I have a page - let's call it advice.php.When a user clicks a link on that page it goes to an intermediary checking page which checks which link they want to go to, records their visit in the DB and then sends them to the requested page is on external sites. That page is called checklinks.php.Trouble is when users are on the external page and hit back button they get the expired page warning in IE (and re-send page warning in FF).I've tried adding
