Change Link Color

i'm making a search cloud page, where the latest keywords that have been searched are listed in a table it pulls this information from my database now I want to change the color of the link depending on their serach count for example

keyword > 100 counts - make the link green
keyword <100 counts make the link blue

is there a way to do this in php? also i realize that you can use css to change link colors in a page, but I don't know how to use css to specifically change only certain links, and make those certain colors.

Change The Link Color And The Class?

Im listing files in a directory on a web page with links to the files. I'm trying to change the link color to something other than my typical. Below is the php link...

echo("<a href= '$dirname/$file'>$file </a> ");echo "<br />";

I want to change the class.

Below is one of many attempts...

$class22 = 'class="otherA"';
echo "<a href="" . "$dirname$file>$file" . """ .$class22. "">";

I can't seem to get it right.

How To Change Template Menu Link Text Color For Page Currently Viewed ??

Say you have a left menu that stays the same on every page within in your site. Obviously you would make this menu a template or library item, so that when you edit one version, all the others are updated.

Let's say the left menu is the following:

Now, when I am viewing Page_1, I want the "Page_1" text in the left menu to be red, so that the viewer knows what page they are on. When I click on the left menu link for "Page_2", then I want the "Page_1" text to go back to black and the "Page_2" text to be red.

Using GD To Change The Color Of A One Color Shape On A Transparent Background While Preserving Transparency?

I have a png that is a set of white shape on a transparent background.I'm trying to change to color of the shapes while preserving the transparent background.I've been experimenting with the code below which does change the color but results in a black background.I think the imagetruecolortopalette is causing the problem but the color doesn't change if I remove that line.

$imgname = "whiteim.png";
$im = imagecreatefrompng ($imgname);

Php Color Change

I have a form that I have designed with colors. I am using php code to color
it depending upon other values.

On my pc the colors are ok. From a friends pc every field with the word
email in had a different colour. When I change the spelling of "email" to
"emial" the colours displayed on his pc revert back to the colours I have
set. We are running identical versions of windows and msie. Except mine is
the Swedish version and he has the English version.

The offending field contains a text label and an input control. If either
the text label or the name of the input control contains the word "email"
the colors are morphed. The main problem with this was that the input field
was changed to yellow text on a yellow background.

Is this because I am supplying the colors by php code or is it a problem for
all forms? What I can not fathom is why he has different colors to the ones
I have designed and why this "feature" was not displayed on my pc. We both
use std settings in MSIE.

Change Color In Php Message

I'm having trouble to change the color of a part of a message I'm
putting together in a PHP script.
The built up of the message is as follows :

$message = "Update for Request number: " . $nbr . "
" .
"Project name: " . $prjname . "
" .
$yournamestring . $yrname . "
" .
"Your email address:" . $yremail . "
" .
"Address on site:". $osaddr . "
" .
.... ;

Now I want for instance change the color of the entry "Your email
address" and if possible also of the string represented by $yremail (or
only 1 of both), if a certain condition is true (e.g this item is
changed during an update).

I tried several things, such as
"<FONT color="red">Your email address: </FONT>" .
$yremail . "
" .

but in the email received appears litteraly all what is noted, but no
text in red.

Probably I'm using the wrong quotes or on the wrong place .... Has
anyone already did something similar ?

Change Image Color

I've made some progress today, and now have a map that will move to the correct area based on its thumbnail image. Many a thanks to vwphillips for sharing his javascript code to accomplish the map. Now I could use some suggestions on how to accomplish the next step in my project/experiment. And that is to be able to change the color of each country on the map to the color that is assigned to it in a database.

The issue is that each country is not its own image. The map is actually composed of 100 sliced images that are 350px by 200px each. I'm not even sure its possible to segregate each country to its own image, as they consist of all different shapes.

Change Color Of An Image With GD?

I'm currently building a fairly basic t-shirt design site, which lets people pick a t-shirt colour, a template, font, and imprint colour, which thus far is working fine. It uses a combination of javascript and PHP GD to output the image as they construct it. You can see it here. What happens is that it overlays a PNG of whatever design template they choose over top of the shirt. Is there a way that I can create just a black template PNG file, and change the colour of it with PHP GD? If so, what is the method for it?

Change A Color In An Image?

I googled for solution to change a color in an image. For a simple test I have a png graphic with some pixels black and the rest transparent. I like to change the black ones to some other color. This is what I found how to do it for GIF, so I modified the calls because mine are PNG. If it is different for PNG I don't know.

PHP Code:

$imgfile = 'Tanzania.png';
$im = imagecreatefrompng($imgfile);
$index = imageColorclosest($im,0,0,0);
imagecolorset($im,$index,100,0,0);  //reddish color
$imgres = 'Tanzania-modified.png';
//header('Content-type: image/png');
imagepng($im,$imgres); imagedestroy($im);

But when I render out the modified file it is just a solid black rectangle same dimensions as the original. Test file is uploaded (attached)

Determine Difference In Color Between AA Pixel And Foreground Color - Apply To New Color?

The Image has a background of solid red, a foreground of solid grey. On the edges of the foreground there is some anti-aliasing from grey to white. What I need to do is change the foreground color to a user specified color and the red to transparent. This is easy enough using imagecolorcloset + imagecolorset/imagecolortransparent. The problem is the antialasing part. I believe I need to loop through the pixels in the image. This would appear to work: [URL].... I believe that I now need to determine the color difference between the foreground color and the anti aliased color. So

Foreground Color = rgb (153, 153, 153)
Anti-Alias Pixel = rgb (173, 173, 173)
New Color = rgb (0, 0, 255)

How do I determine the difference in color between the AA Pixel and the Foreground Color then apply it to the new color?

Change Background Color In If Statement?

I'm trying to changed the background color of a field based on the results of the field. My script runs fine and provides the data correctly.

I query my database and it gives me a result of $priority. $priority can be High, Medium, or Low. What I want is: If $priority is "Low", background color "Blue", $priority is "High", background color is "Red".

I'm not sure how to write the if statement in order to change a background color. Here is a snippit of my code

$query = "SELECT workorder.*, tech.techname FROM workorder RIGHT JOIN tech ON workorder.techid = tech.techid WHERE status='Open' ORDER BY date asc LIMIT $offset,$recordsperpage";
$result = mysql_query($query) or die('Could not retrieve workorders');
while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result, MYSQL_ASSOC))
$woid = $row['woid'];

When I "echo $priority" I want the background color based on the data $priority provides. There are 6 possible results for $priority.
