I am trying to install PHPMyAdmin on IIS 7.5 / Windows Server 2008 R2. I created an application inside IIS, when I try to run the app I get an internal error, which is related to phpMyAdmin here is the log :
I installed the english.zip file from http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/downloads.php. When I attempt to access phpMyAdmin I get an error page the routes me to http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/Documentation.html#faqmysql. So, from this, I'm concluding that I need the php_mysql.dll extension. In an effort to be totally current, I'm trying to use the MySQL Improved Extension.
Investigating this extension, I read the following from http://us3.php.net/manual/en/ref.mysqli.php:
"In order to have these functions available, you must compile PHP with support for the mysqli extension."
How do I go about this? I don't have a compiler. I do have the .dll currently in C:phpext.
I’m trying to install phpMyAdmin when I type: http://localhost/phpMyAdmin I get the error message below. Could anyone please tell me the reason for this, and how I can solve this problem. I have already edited the config.inc.php3 file.
Warning: MySQL connection Failed: Access denied for user: ‘root@localhost’ (using password: YES) in lib.inc.php3 on line 99 Fatal error: call to unsupported or undefined function mysql_die() in lib.inc.php3 on line 99.
i have just downloaded phpMyAdmin but how do i install it so i can then use it. As all i have at the moment is all the downloaded files and no setup function. I have an install file but when i click on this it asks me what program i would like to open the file with, so i am a little bit stuck at the moment.
I installed everything and everything appears to be connecting but a few issues are apparent with phpmyadmin. First off it doesn't seem like it is using the themes as the site is totally missing all of its formatting. Second I can't create a table, add a row or anything. The error I am getting is ' tbl_replace.php: Missing parameter: goto (FAQ 2.8) '. Which contains a link to this page. I tried all those suggestions that were relevant and saw no change.
I need installation & testing of phpmyadmin.. i think i installed it but how do i connect it to my mysql? All the programmin is done in command propmt and i haf no idea wat to do.. I m usin a local host..
I'm running on php 5.2.6 on my development server and need to install phpMyAdmin. However, when I install phpMyAdmin, it updates my php to 5.3.x and that causes my website to break... Been looking online but haven't found anything that will install phpMyAdmin but leave alone the php version.
Anyone know how to install phpMyAdmin without upgrading php automatically? Leave php version alone, just install the phpMyAdmin on Linux Fedora 14.
I've aquired some webspace and all I want to do is install phpbb but do not have the slightest clue where to start. Even a point in the right directionhow to install and setup a phpbb forums with phpmyadmin
This will install the myplugin.php file to the /plugins/mycomponent plugins folder. However, if I want to install some image files to make my plugin look nicer, and want to drop those in the /images folder, is there a way to supply that path?
I have been trying to install PHP 5.3.6 on a clean install of Win2003, no dot net or anything else much installed. Unfortunately I have tried 'thread safe', 'non thread safe', installer file, zip file etc. but whatever I try PHP just doesn't seem to work. I have also installed Microsoft C++ 2008 redistributable as suggested on PHP site but still nothing.
I am looking for PHP suite similar to PHPMyAdmin that lets me manage a database from a web server. However what I want to be able to do is create custom forms for data entry rather than the automatically generated forms that PHPMyAdmin makes.
I have set up the Xitami server (2.5c2) and PHP (5.0.5) on my Win98 system without any problem. I am trying to add PhpMyAdmin. When I try to load
which loads index.php, I get the following (lengthy) warning...
Warning: main(./libraries/grab_globals.lib.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:XITAMI-25APPpublic_htmlphpMyAdminindex.php on line 8 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './libraries/grab_globals.lib.php' (include_path='.;c:phpincludes;c:xitami-25appincludes;c:xitami-25ap ppublic_htmlphpMyAdmin;c:xitami-25apppublic_htmlphpMyAdminlibraries ') in C:XITAMI-25APPpublic_htmlphpMyAdminindex.php on line 8
I have verified that the grab_globals.lib.php exists in the libraries directory. I tried removing the './' from the beginning of the path and the file is found but produces an equivalent error for
when I remove the './' from the beginning of this path this file is apparently found but the page loaded is blank.
Any help that anyone can give me with this would be greatly appreciated. If I haven't included enough info please let me know.
